The organisers of the conference to celebrate 50 years since the launch of the ship, had hoped to exceed the delegates expectations and we could not have been more delighted with the feedback we received from delegates and our speakers. Information and discussions on the event can be found on the forum topic board and you can see photos that delegates have added in the Gallery Album.

24 Hours and counting
It has been a busy couple of weeks but we are delighted with our planning for the conference and the media response to the Press Releases we put out. At this time tomorrow delegates will be seated in the hall eagerly anticipating the start of this exciting QE2 50 Year Conference.
Media interest in the conference grows
With the countdown now down to just 9 days, media interest in the sell-out conference continues to grow. Seatrade Cruise News ran a nice piece on it, and others are to follow.
Journalist and Media contact information and press releases are available here.
Major News article about QE2
In the run up to the conference, The QE2 Story was contacted by a Mirror Online journalist who was putting together a story on QE2’s 50th anniversary, and our conference. We helped the journalist with press releases, imagery and connecting her with the people interviewed for the article.
The QE2 Story’s Motto is “Keeping The Legend Alive” and we believe that by helping make this article possible, we did exactly that.

The delegate pack has been designed and we are currently working on the contents before we start work on the name badges.
Looking forward to meeting the delegates on 22 September.
